At My Palakkad, accessible from our mobile application, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by My Palakkad and how we use it.

• Phone Number: We collect your phone number for secure authentication via OTP (One Time Password) provided by Firebase.
• Name: If provided, we use your name to personalize your experience within the app and on your profile screen.
• Service or Business Details: If you register as a service provider, we collect details about your business to list them for other users.
• App Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as app interaction, crashes, and performance metrics to improve our service.
• Precise Location: We collect your device's precise location (GPS and network-based) to enable "Near Me" features, allowing you to find places, events, and services that are closest to you.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our application
• Improve, personalize, and expand our application
• Understand and analyze how you use our application
• Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
• Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners
• Send you text messages for authentication
• Provide location-based services and "Near Me" functionality
• Find and prevent fraud

Security of Your Data

The security of your personal information is important to us. We use industry-standard security measures, including Firebase Authentication and secure server protocols, to protect your data. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

My Palakkad does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our application, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
